Cambridge investors pump $13M into Accuri Cytometers

Two Cambridge private equity firms, Flagship Ventures and Fidelity Biosciences, have led a $13 million third-round financing of life sciences company Accuri Cytometers Inc. to expand commercialization of its cell analysis tool.

GT Solar expands IPO plans to $500M

GT Solar Inc., a manufacturer of photovoltaic equipment, has boosted the amount it intends to raise to almost $500 million in an initial public offering, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Tissue therapeutics company Anika Therapeutics Inc. has signed an exclusive deal with Artes Medical Inc. of San Diego to distribute and market Elevess, Anika’s wrinkle filler.
