Jodi Goldman has been promoted to national director of communications at Boston-based CresaPartners, a corporate real estate advisory firm specializing in tenant representation. Goldman previously served as national public relations and advertising manager. She was previously the public relations manager for Houghton Mifflin Co. in Boston, area director of communications for the American Cancer Society (Southeastern Massachusetts), director of communications for the American Heart Association (Northeast affiliate), and morning anchor and reporter for WVNY-TV, an ABC affiliate in Burlington, Vt.

Interactive Data Corp. has appointed Stephan Wolf, formerly chairman of the executive board of Interactive Data Managed Solutions, as chief technology officer. Wolf will continue to be based in the company’s Frankfurt, Germany office. And Carsten Dirks, formerly chief sales officer at Interactive Data Managed Solutions, will succeed Wolf in leading the Interactive Data Managed Solutions business as managing director and chairman of the executive board. Wolf had led the Interactive Data Managed Solutions business since Interactive Data acquired IS.Teledata in mid-December 2005. Prior to the acquisition, Wolf co-founded IS Innovative Software GmbH in 1989 and served as its managing director. He was later named CEO and then spokesman of the executive board of IS.Teledata, which was formed in 2003 when IS Innovative Software merged with OnVista Technologies GmbH. Dirks has been responsible for international sales activities at Interactive Data Managed Solutions since 2001. In 2005, he was also appointed general manager of IS.Teledata Nordic Oy, in Helsinki, Finland. Previously, he headed the corporate solutions department of IS Innovative Software, overseeing sales and project business for German customers. Before that, Dirks held positions at AT&T, Hewlett Packard, DaimlerChrysler and SAP.

Concord-based intellectual property law firm Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds has promoted Ion C. Abraham to associate. Abraham has experience in the areas of chemistry, clean energy, electronics, mechanical and computer technologies and he assists the firm with patent and trademark matters. Abraham earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, his Ph.D. in chemistry with a minor in physics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and his J.D. from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque.

TM Capital, a middle market investment bank, has hired Alexander Egelson as a financial analyst in its technology practice. Egelson joins the firm after completing an internship program with the firm last summer. He recently graduated from Bates College with a bachelor’s degree in economics.


Instrumentation
Avidyne Corp. of Lincoln has hired Delta Air Lines veteran Mark Sindone as director of customer service. Sindone, who most recently served as director of customer logistics at AGL Resources Inc. in Atlanta, spent 15 years in technical operations at Delta Air Lines prior to joining AGL in 2005. A licensed Airframe & Powerplant mechanic, he is enrolled at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University pursuing a degree in professional aeronautics.


Life Sciences
Interleukin Genetics Inc. has named Partha P. Paul as senior director, business development. Prior to joining Interleukin Genetics, Paul was the senior director of business development at AtheroGenics Inc., a publicly traded biotechnology company located in Georgia. Prior to joining AtheroGenics, Paul was a senior research scientist at Southwest Research Institute, a contract research organization.


Manufacturing
Thomas Hemler has joined Mack Molding Co. of Arlington, Vt., as business development manager for the mid-Atlantic region. Hemler was key account manager for polycarbonate resin sales into the Northeast territory for Bayer MaterialScience. Earlier, he worked for Bayer Plastics and other divisions of Bayer, garnering production, processing, and sales and marketing expertise over a 12-year period. Before that, Hemler worked for Amerada Hess Corp., Rohm and Haas, and Grinnell Corp.
